Holmes Underestimated Adler by Victor Rufer

THE WOMAN outsmarted Holmes because he underestimated her, the same way most men of that time did.  She was not the villain, poor choices, yes; she did what she had to to protect herself. England had a queen that the people trusted to run a country, yet barely trusted the average woman to run a household. One can but wonder where we would be if women were seen as equals from the start.
